BUYWIDGET LAUNCHES NEW BRAND EXTENSION SITES
New services allow any school or church to easily sell digital music
MIAMI, FL (November 10, 2010) – BuyWidget, the social commerce network, announced today that it has launched two new brand extensions of the core BuyWidget service.
SchoolBuyWidget works with any US school, allowing the institution to enhance their website experience and derive added revenue through installing BuyWidget on their school’s site or blog.
FaithBuyWidget works with any US faith-based website, allowing the site corresponding to any church, place of worship, or any individual site owner to add a BuyWidget to their site to monetize traffic and derive additional revenue.
BuyWidget eliminates the need for any site to integrate a proprietary cart or e-commerce solution, and unlike typical affiliate models, the entire experience and transaction takes place on the actual site where the widget is located, avoiding the redirection of visitors to a third party, competitive or potentially unknown site.
With just a few quick steps, site owners can search from more than 11 million high quality MP3s (encoded at 296 kbps or higher), build an appropriate playlist, add their own school or faith-based logo to their BuyWidget, name the playlist and embed the BuyWidget code. BuyWidget supports standard HTML, WordPress, TypePad or Blogger sites. Site publishers can update the BuyWidget songs and albums or the sequence as often as they like. BuyWidget does not require a monthly sales minimum, setup charge or initiation fee. BuyWidget sites are paid for sales through their PayPal accounts. BuyWidget allows a site publisher to embed playlists to accompany music-related or seasonal events. Widgets can be built using either pre-programmed or personalized thematic or topic-specific playlists to provide appropriately suggested tracks for events and special occasions – with all songs or albums quickly purchasable from the associated BuyWidget.
