My website users come from many countries. Will they be able to download the songs using the one widget?
The music track and album purchases are restricted to the US currently, as a result of label licensing agreements. Other Widget products and content will be available globally.
How do I know I have made a sale?
Thanks for your question. We report monthly to sites on transactions. We administer payment by PayPal.
Do you plan to modify the commission later?
The rate stands as it is. We have no intention of lowering the commission. If there were to be an opportunity to raise the commission to benefit the site owners, we would.
How can you pay when you don't have personal information, such as address or tax number?
We are paying by check currently, while our payment gateway is completed. When we receive sales reports, we contact the site owners and obtain the appropriate payment information. The gateway should be completed in one payment cycle.
When 4 different widget were placed on a site only 1 worked. why?
We are investigating this issue.
how do you get paid
You are paid on every track or album sold. We currently pay by check, and will have a PayPal system for payment initiated shortly.
how can i speed up the loading of the Buywidget?
The load time is dependent on pulling background information such as album art, and song metadata. It generates each time the page is created. We continually work to improve the processes, however.

How does BuyWidget work?
BuyWidget allows a site owner to add a source of revenue to their site or blog. It allows the site owner to create customized playlists of either albums or tracks in MP3 format.
How do I earn revenue?
Site owners make 7% of each track or album sold.
Are the downloads iPod and iTunes compatible?
Yes, all MP3s are compatible with Apple's iTunes/iPod/iTouch/iPad.
What format are the music downloads in?
All downloads are in MP3 format, at 296 kbps or higher.
Who are my site visitors purchasing the downloads from?
Downloads and the e-commerce is provided by MediaNet, the leading business-to-business provider of digital content.

Hi - Am interested in using this service. I have a website which is Christian. Would like to only have christian songs on the playlist. Is this an option? Do you have this genre available?
Thanks for your question - yes, there is an extensive repertoire of both Christian and Gospel music in the library. You can build a playlist that is exclusively devoted to Christian music, or any other genre.
Can I search for Artists, Album Titles and Tracks Titles?
Yes, BuyWidget supports search for all three parameters, just select whether you want tracks or albums before you search
can i add my own music to sell?
At the moment we only offer music from the 8 million songs in the catalog for sale. We will be allowing customers to upload and sell their own music in a future update to the application
How many playlists can be added to site?
You can add as many BuyWidget playlists to a site as possible, but at present they have to be setup under multiple Usernames. So you could use BuyWIdget1, BuyWidget2, BuyWidget3 as your names, for example and set them up directed to the same e-mail address.
How many playlists can you have on 1 website?
There is no limit, but they have to be set up under multiple Usernames - currently there is a one Username - one Playlist relationship. However you can edit that one Playlist as often as you want.
How many songs can I add to a playlist?
There isn't a limit, as the Widget scrolls to reveal each song.
How do I build a Playlist?
After signing up, start searching for music, by artist name, album title or track title, then add the tracks to the Playlist.
Can I change the songs in a Playlist after it's built?
Yes, just sign in, and BuyWIdget will recall your list. Make any change to your list, then copy the updated code to your site.
How do I change the order of a Playlist?
After you've searched for and added the music you want in the Playlist, you can drag any of the tracks to a new position in the list.
Can I add my own site logo to the BuyWidget?
Yes, just upload it as part of the steps of creating the BuyWidget.
How do I add my logo to the BuyWidget?
Follow the instructions on the Add Your Logo page during the BuyWidget build process.
How do I copy the BuyWidget code to my site or blog?
Click on the Copy button after the code is created, and it will place it on your clipboard, or highlight the code and copy it.
Where do I place the code?
In an HTML site, place it where you would like your BuyWidget to appear. In a WordPress, TypePad or Blogger site, you can either place it in the page or sidebars.
